Doo Dah is celebrating its 25th Anniversary by throwing a block party. We will shut down High Street after the parade to make way for bands. We need volunteers to work the first aid tent. If you have experience, please contact me.

Date: Friday, July 4
Time: 3-6 p.m. or 6-9 p.m.

Volunteers will receive Doo Dah T-Shirts, water, food, and bragging rights.

Thank you!

Notes from Doo Dah Lovers

(Columbus)  The DisOrganizers of the 25th Annual Doo Dah Parade are calling out to Central Ohio’s patriots, party-lovers, indie artists, rockers, bankers, bikers, lawyers, poets, politicians, weather-persons, residents, observers, potential celebrities, dog-lovers or otherwise and variously interested parties to come enjoy the nation’s greatest, and oldest, continual Fourth of July parade.

“DOO DAH is days away, and we’re taking over the streets of the Short North… it is clearly going to be the best parade and block party ever!  We’re calling on our founding fathers to make this year’s romp something special, and the best they could do was send us our favorite former Mayor, Dana G. ‘BUCK’ Rinehart!  Please join our Less-Than-Grand Marshall and hundreds of marchers as we wave the flags of Free Speech and rock out in the streets of Columbus.

Mz Doo Dah, ChairChick & Queen

I am really looking forward to this event. We’ll have some fun....

B.Rinehart (Less-Than-Grand Marshal)

Just to let you know that the Greek Orthodox Cathedral will be available to park in the church lot at 12:00 noon for $5.00.

M.Kididis

I would like to play the bagpipes, I may get some other musicians in on it as well and come up with a costumes.

C.Mullen

This is my combined 50th birthday and Mother's Day gift from my daughter who lives in Columbus.  She arranged and paid for the flight and will accompany me to the parade.  She hasn't made me promise not to embarrass her yet but, I am expecting it.

X.Deery

I am so looking forward to the Doo-dah parade and block party. I am
working to under-do the Penguin (bike-powered) float with a beagle
float (still powered by bike).

Thanks for all the work you do on this event. It is a fun event.

Sincerely,
S.Fox
