DOO'S & DOON'TS OF DOO DAH

(For example...if you are driving a car representing a "car fixing place" with your logo on it (and nothing
else), that's advertising. Or, are you saying take a sledge hammer to it and see if I can fix it?) NO FULL NUDITY! NO WATER, NO KIDDING! Please don’t ruin people’s art. Please don’t throw candy to the crowd from the parade.
This only entices kids to run into the parade, and we know what can happen. Don't run up to moving cars in the parade. NO PASSING ZONE. Please let the entry in front
of you perform. Not only is it dangerous to pass, it keeps the crowd from seeing their message or yours. Besides,
you wouldn't want to run over a Fidel taking a Siesta would you?! If you’re on a bicycle, scooter, segway, you know...things with wheels, these
rules apply to you too! No
Vendors "on" the streets. (except our T-Shirt people, of course) It's not a race. We have a permit until 3:00 p.m. But, remember
you and everyone else have to be at BEGINNING AGAIN. So, try to keep your skits “moveable”.
(Don't forget, there are Less-Than-Honorable Judges at THE END). DOO HAVE FUN! DOO LAUGH A LOTLOT! DOO Stop at White Castle or at Kathy’s "the water lady's house", both on 2nd Ave for FREE water. DOO park somewhere that you won't get a ticket or towed.
F.Y.I - There is no one from Doo
Dah going around "collecting for Doo Dah". So, where in the heck do I park dah car?
Hey, did you notice? We've set up poopie-johns on the parade route! Leave it to Doo Dah to take more crap!
Parade Route:
Straggle out Park Street, slope across Buttles, shoot down
Dennison, sneak across Collins, scale Neil Avenue, swing East onto 2nd Avenue, and then slide down High Street and scatter
near Russell...
Then come back into the Block Party Zone for fun and frolicking ON High Street!

The best way for coming into Line-up is from the south end
of Park Street, heading North towards Buttles.
